Trick or Treating

I had a great time trick or treating last night with Grace and Luke. Grace was a little shy, but once Luke realized there was candy involved, he was running from house to house. And he’d stand there as long as I’d let him taking candy from people. At work, he’d just run in circles between offices taking candy while Grace would work up her courage to take one piece of candy.

The only downside is we ended up with more candy than we started with – we confiscated most of the kids candy are debating what to do with it. At least we have our years supply of candy :). One food group down, several to go.

  1. I never had any trouble with any of you guys going trick or treating. You were all a bit like Luke, when there is candy involved, it’s a no brainer. But Brian would not go trick or treating. He would not dress up. He would go to the door with us and look, but he wouldn’t even put candy in the trick or treater’s bag. Kurt noticed that he didn’t even go after the candy between trick or treaters. So there are all kinds of personalities and that is what makes trick or treaters so much fun. I’m so glad that Luke and Grace both had fun. And that you had fun with them!
